About Maui

Maui Community Tennis Organization (MCTO) was formed in the late 1980's. All activities of the district shall take place within the Hawaii Pacific Section as designated by the United States Tennis Association which includes the State of Hawaii.

The purpose of the district shall be the following:

1.  To promote the development of tennis as a means of healthful recreation and physical fitness.

2.  To maintain and enforce the rules of play established by the United States Tennis Association.

3.  To promote the development of good sportsmanship, fair play, character, and responsible citizenship.

4.  To encourage tennis tournaments and related athletic activities open to all persons regardless of their sex, race, color, creed, or national origin.
