Executive Director Announces Covid-19 Updates
On March 11, 2021 Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi announced modifications to Oahu’s Tier 3 Covid 19 restrictions.
Organized outdoor youth sports will resume on April 12 with no spectators and no potlucks.
Organized outdoor adult sports will resume on April 19 with no spectators and no potlucks.
Unfortunately, the modified Tier 3 Covid 19 restrictions do not allow for tournaments of any kind. As a result, we will not be able to schedule junior or adult tournaments at this time. We will continue with the junior and adult “Flex” programs where players arrange their own courts, dates and times.
We are pleased that the Play & Learn Program will resume in April. The Play & Learn Program is group tennis instruction at a number of public park sites on Oahu. For more information about Play & Learn please visit: https://www.ustahawaii.com/classes/dates
Because of the travel restrictions, mandated by the State of Hawaii Department of Health, we will not schedule any events or activities that require neighbor island travel. Once the travel restrictions are lifted or modified, we will resume events that require inter-island travel.
We are excited to resume some outdoor organized tennis on Oahu.
