Singles Flex League

If you are looking for match play in a fun, competitive, and flexible environment, this is the league for you! A Flex League gives you the opportunity to control the schedule. For this league, the coordinator determines who you play against during the season, but you arrange the match with your opponent at a mutually agreed upon location, date, and time. It could be during the day or evening, or weekday or weekend, as long as all matches are completed before the end of the season. The number of matches for each player is determined by the number of players in the flight. Players are not required to purchase a USTA membership to participate. There will be multiple sessions offered this year and details are listed in the table below.

• Players with a current and valid USTA membership have access to a discounted registration fee.

  • $13.15 for members

  • $28.15 for non-members

• There are different NTRP flights available in separate men’s and women’s divisions for singles.

  • 2.5 and below

  • 3.0

  • 3.5

  • 4.0

  • 4.5

  • Open (minimum 4.5 rating required)

• The scoring format is best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point tiebreaker played in lieu of the 3rd set, and ad scoring. All tiebreakers will follow the Coman format.

• The player designed as the home team on the schedule will bring a can of ball to the match, and will take home the used balls after the match is completed.

• Results from this league will not be calculated in a player’s year-end rating.

• All matches must be completed by the end of the season.
